This comprehensive training will cover the critical purposes of enforcement, including safety and time management. Attendees will explore transportation mobility policies, focusing on fixed and variable transit options, non-motorized transportation solutions, and fleet management strategies. Attendees will also learn how to recognize the criticality of establishing and implementing financial accountability, safety, security, and emergency procedures which are critical to the operations of a healthy organization.
Objectives:
- Examine transportation mobility policies, including fixed and variable transit options and non-motorized transportation solutions, to enhance compliance and improve community mobility.
- Implement and manage safety and security protocols, including security patrols, emergency phone systems, cameras, and suicide prevention measures, to enhance the safety and well-being of both customers and staff in parking facilities.
- Evaluate various enforcement practices, such as warnings, citations, and license plate recognition (LPR), to develop effective strategies for policy implementation, including emergency procedures.
Meet the Presenters!
J.C. Porter, PTMP, Director, Parking and Transportation, Arizona State University
JC Porter serves as Director for Commuter Services/TDM at Arizona State University. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the International Parking and Mobility Institute (IPMI) and currently oversees all of ASU's parking and transportation services department. JC graduated from BSU with a bachelor’s degree in biology and is a PTMP. He is co-chair of the IPMI’s sustainability committee and serves as a ParkSmart assessor for the Green Building Council Inc. ParkSmart Garage Certification.
Dr. George J. Mclean, DBA, PTMP, Senior Business Analyst, Miami Parking Authority
Mr. George Mclean is the Senior Business Analyst of the Miami Parking Authority. Mr. Mclean is a cross-functional leader heading the development and implementation of enterprise-level solutions. In addition, he simultaneously manages the day-to-day operations of the Authority's customer service and marketing departments. In this capacity, Mr. Mclean has complete operational control over data analytics, technological innovations, social media presence, community engagement, and brand management.
