Official #IPMI 2023 Charity Partners

IPMI is delighted to have HONK as our 2023 Conference & Expo Charity Partners.

IPMI and HONK would like to take this opportunity to inform you of our ongoing partnership in sustainability efforts regarding outreach to the local Fort Worth community. When exhibitors participate in our event, thousands of products are packaged and shipped. At the end of the event, some exhibitors choose to leave their items on the show floor due to excessive return shipping costs. In previous years, our staff simply gathered IPMI materials donated them to a local charity in conjunction with our local Convention & Visitors Bureau. Our goal is to increase our outreach and the amount of donations to the community.

To achieve this goal, we would love to have your participation. We encourage you to leave show items that you do not plan to ship back on the event floor so we can donate them to a local charity on your behalf. In doing so, you can reduce shipping costs as well as carbon emissions from transportation.  All donated items will be distributed to the Wellman Project

Waste output generated by businesses, and lack of resources in our schools. The Wellman Project uses one idea to tackle these two seemingly unrelated problems in the local Fort Worth community. The solution is simple, but often overlooked: reuse. We serve as a free resource for teachers, distributing surplus materials from local companies for creative reuse in the classroom and beyond, along with making creativity accessible to the whole community through a creative reuse storefront and workshops. Teachers shop for free in our Educator Warehouse, and everyone can shop in our new Curiosity Shop for great deals on art supplies, craft materials, vintage treasures, and unique gifts made by local reuse artists - with 100% of proceeds going to help us fill a classroom, not a landfill!

Save money, save the environment, and help the community.
