Join us for the Annual William M. Voigt CAPP Classic Golf Tournament. An attendee favorite, proceeds from the event provide funding for the CAPP Scholarship Fund and CAPP Program, which helps eligible candidates obtain or maintain the industry’s leading credential. New this year, IPMI will expand the event to include additional events for the would-be golfer, which may include but are not limited to putting contests, pro lessons, and driving range time. TPC Tampa Bay is one of the most beautiful and exciting courses in Florida. Built by the PGA TOUR in 1991, the Bobby Weed designed 18-hole resort course has earned a 4 ½ star rating from Golf Digest and was named one of the top five golf courses in Florida by Florida Golf Magazine.
Golfers will be picked up from the JW Marriott Water Street on Monday, November 29, and transported by shuttle to TPC Tampa Bay. Buses will depart promptly at 11:00 a.m. Please be in the designated pickup location 15 minutes prior to departure. Following registration, and putting, golfers should be at their carts by 12:15 p.m. for a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Awards Ceremony will be held immediately following tournament play.
Participate in golf lessons instructed by a certified golf pro from TPC. This event is perfect for all levels of golfers, even the beginners!
Teams will be organized by the Golf Classic Committee based on handicaps, although you may request team assignments on the registration form. Golfers without established handicaps should indicate their average score. Foursomes and pairing requests must accompany the registration form. Clubs must be requested and paid for in advance with your registration. Pairings request and club rental requests are not accepted after November 15, 2021.
We require proper golf attire (or better) at all times. This includes the driving range, putting green and Clubhouse.
• No cutoffs or gym shorts
• No tank tops
• No tee shirts or halters
• A proper golf shirt is required
• Non-denim pants are preferred
• Appropriate length of golf shorts is required
All golfers are invited to attend a special reception and award ceremony following tournament play where prizes will be awarded and a special recognition program will honor our sponsors.
As if it's not enough to enjoy the day networking with your peers, special contests like "Longest Drive", "Closest to the Pin", "Hole-In-One" and raffle drawings guarantee you'll be a winner no matter what your score on the course! In 2020, we awarded more than $2500 in prizes including an Apple Airpods, Bose Wireless Bluetooth Speaker, Garmin Approach GPS Golf Watch, Amazon Echo Spot, American Express Gift cards and a GolfBuddy Voice 2 Golf GPS/Rangefinder!!
