June 1 - June 2

Virtual Conference & Expo Registration is open!

Registration FAQ's

Absolutely! For no additional cost, you can participate in the Virtual Conference as long as you have Internet access that meets the technical requirements.

We will be sending out a series of emails and blog posts that will help you make the most of your virtual experience. We have also created a Virtual Tips page.

Streamed sessions don’t begin streaming until the time the session begins – not before the start time. Stay logged in; it will begin streaming on schedule. Remember – the sessions are listed in the conference time zone – EASTERN TIME ZONE.

Virtual Conference attendees will receive an email notification when the program is available for viewing along with a link to access it. Users will use their email address and password from thier IPMI 2020 Virtual Conference & Expo confirmation to enter the virtual Conference.

If we are experiencing technical difficulty with the stream, please know that it is still being recorded. If the stream isn’t back after a couple minutes, we recommend switching to watch a different session and watching the recording of the interrupted session at another time.

Sessions streamed live will follow the Eastern Time Zone. Convert to your local time here.

Yes, we will provide the opportunity to purchase recordings from the virtual conference sessions after the conference has ended.

Each live streamed session will have a dedicated staff member who will relay your content related questions and comments to the presenter(s) as appropriate.  The session staff member will introduce herself/himself to the virtual audience at the beginning of the session using the chat feature on the streaming site. If you have a question or comment, write it in the chat window. Staff will relay it to the presenter, either at the end during the Q&A portion, or when/if the presenter pauses to take questions.

Multi-Day Courses & Conference Add-On Workshops can be added to your conference registration and are a separate fee.   Please refer to our Registration Rates page for more details.

These classes have limits to the number of participants so sign up early to reserve your spot.

For the Virtual event we will not be utilizing our mobile app.  Keep connected on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.  Make sure to use the hashtag #IPMI2020

The Call for Presentations closed on October 10, 2019.  For more information, including the submission process for future events, contact Kathleen Federici,, with any questions.

Prior to June 1, 2020:

Most importantly, you need to test your system prior to the start of the conference so that you don’t miss the first session due to access issues! It is important that you test the setup of any and all computers you will use to access the virtual conference BEFORE the conference sessions begin. Don’t assume that your computer will work or that if one computer works, a different computer on a different network will work as well.

Need to Know:

· Plan Ahead: Know which sessions you want to attend and when they are happening. Enter the session chat room early so that you don’t miss anything. You will get the most out of your conference experience if you actively participate! Introduce yourself when you enter a session so that the session monitor knows you’re there.

· From the Session landing page, select the session you wish to view.

· You can also search the list of sessions by presenter name, using your browser’s find feature (usually control+F on a PC, command+F on a Mac) to search for a word in the session’s title or use our advanced search filters.

· In the Lobby, you'll be greeted by an tutorial video to help you navigate the virtual environment.

Rest assured, you'll have year long access to the platform to return and view all the recorded sessions and download handouts.

However, you will only be able to earn leaderboard points and win prizes on live days. See the full list of activities on the Prizes tab and earn the most points for the chance to win exclusive prizes!

Once logged into the virtual event you will be able to chat one-on-one for technical help by navigating to the HELP section in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

IPMI does have a scholarship fund available to CAPP credential holders and CAPP Candidates. Please download and read the guidelines for applying here. The deadline is May 5, 2020.
