This three-day course will teach to the new CAPP exam content areas and cover the knowledge and skills parking and mobility professionals and CAPPs need to know for on-the-job success.
What You Will Learn:
· Project management: You will learn about procurement management, including implementation and operational considerations.
· General management: Join us to learn how to create a business and strategic plan for your operation.
· Financial and operational management: Will cover fundamental finance concepts and the development of sound budgets. It will also review comprehensive audit procedures as well as the development of key performance indicators and dashboards.
· Operations management: Will cover how to evaluate internal operational policies to assess improvements and ensure stakeholder satisfaction. In the technology session, you will discuss new and emerging technologies, the associated advantages and disadvantages, factors to be determined when considering implementing technology, and what constitutes a successful implementation.
· Marketing and public relations: Will teach a four-step approach to communication planning that is easily replicated and can be applied across a variety of sectors (municipal, university, airport, hospital). Recent and relevant case studies will be used to illustrate the value proposition for investing staff and financial resources into stakeholder education and engagement.
